Job summary

GitLab is seeking an Associate Solutions Architect for our SMB EMEA Sales team. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, guiding them through GitLab’s DevSecOps platform to address technical requirements and business objectives across the software development lifecycle.

You will own technical evaluations, shape solution architectures, and partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to drive platform adoption and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in pre-sales, consulting or similar roles guiding solution design and evaluation.
• Experience or interest in end-to-end software development lifecycle and DevSecOps practices.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept and run workshops.
• Clear technical communication and presentation skills for varied audiences.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and advocate for customers internally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Management and Marketing to realize customer value.
• Drive value and change with software development for GitLab's SMB EMEA customers.
• Lead technical evaluations (POCs/POVs) and support tenders or audits.
• Help customers adopt GitLab platform and contribute to a winning sales strategy.
• Guide customers through their digital transformation using GitLab platform knowledge.
