Job summary

Nicoll Curtin is seeking a mid to senior-level Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain enterprise networking and security environments in Ireland. You will work with Juniper and Aruba technologies and collaborate with senior engineers.

Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on routing and switching experience, strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills, and ideally hold JNCIP or Aruba ClearPass certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
• Configure and deploy network infrastructure for new projects and upgrades
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on network design
• Troubleshoot complex LAN, WAN and security issues
• Support routing, switching, wireless and network access control
• Work with Juniper and Aruba ClearPass technologies
• Produce technical documentation and network diagrams
• Liaise with customers, vendors and internal teams

Job description

Opportunity for a mid to senior-level Network Engineer to work across complex enterprise networking and security environments, with strong exposure to Juniper and Aruba technologies.

Candidates with JNCIP or Aruba ClearPass certification are of particular interest. Ideally both, but either certification will be considered alongside strong hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
• Configure and deploy network infrastructure for new projects and upgrades
• Work alongside senior engineers and technical architects on network design and implementation
• Troubleshoot complex LAN, WAN and security issues
• Support routing, switching, wireless and network access control environments
• Work with Juniper and/or Aruba ClearPass technologies
• Participate in network staging, testing and deployment
• Produce technical documentation and network diagrams
• Liaise with customers, vendors and internal technical teams
• 3+ years' experience as a Network Engineer or similar
• Strong hands-on routing and switching experience
• Experience working within enterprise network environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Juniper, Aruba or both
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

Certifications / Technical Expertise

Highly desirable:

• JNCIP
• Aruba ClearPass certification
• JNCIA or other Juniper certifications
• Aruba networking certifications
