Job summary

Stott and May is seeking an Network & Security Support Engineer to join the Dublin NOC team. You will troubleshoot Juniper escalations, support Aruba ClearPass, and work with senior engineers on high-profile network and security projects.

The role is office-based in Dublin with training, development, and eventual on-call rotation after reaching the required level. A full Irish/European driving licence is preferred and excellent customer communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers' Juniper network and security environments.
• Providing first- and second-line support for reported incidents.
• Managing incidents from initial engagement through to resolution, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Troubleshooting network and security issues with support from senior engineers and vendor partners.
• Escalating complex issues where required.
• Completing daily health checks and preparing technical reports for customers.
• Supporting patch management, preventative maintenance, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Ensuring managed services and NSOC environments are secure and effective.
• Sharing ideas to improve our Managed Service and NSOC environments.

Network & Security Support Engineer - Juniper, JNCIP, Aruba, Cisco - €50,000 - €60,000 + oncall - Office based (5 days) - Dublin

This is an opportunity to join a thriving Network Operating Centre, supporting mission-critical customer environments across Juniper, Aruba ClearPass, and wider managed services technologies.

You will have proved skills troubleshooting Juniper escalations and have great customer facing skills and hands-on technical development. You'll work alongside experienced architects and engineers, gain exposure to high-profile network and security projects, and be supported through ongoing training, mentoring, and certification.

The whole team are in the office 5 days a week, and you will be given all the training and development tat you need to become the best that you can be. Once you are at the level required you will be added to the on call rota, and there will be ample opportunities to progress to Project Engineering and beyond.
