Job summary

Stott and May in Dublin is seeking a Network & Security Support Engineer to join our busy NOC team. The role focuses on supporting Juniper, Aruba ClearPass, and wider managed services environments with hands-on troubleshooting and customer-facing responsibilities.

This office-based position offers extensive training, mentoring and opportunities to progress to Project Engineering. You will manage incidents from first contact to resolution, perform daily health checks, patch management, and ensure

Qualifications

5+ years in network support or related roles.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Supporting customers’ Juniper network and security environments.
Providing first- and second-line support for reported incidents.
Managing incidents from initial engagement through to resolution, ensuring SLA adherence.
Troubleshooting network and security issues with support from senior engineers and vendor partners.
Escalating complex issues where required.
Completing daily health checks and preparing technical reports for customers.
Supporting patch management, preventative maintenance, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Ensuring managed services and RMM tools are operating securely and effectively.
