Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a nationwide sales strategy for a multi-site retail and trade business in Ireland. The role reports to the Managing Director and requires translating business strategy into measurable growth while developing a high-performing sales team.

The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, manage branch performance, and foster customer relationships across the network through hands-on leadership and strategic oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, profitability and market share.
• Identify new business opportunities, untapped markets and potential revenue streams.
• Set clear commercial objectives and ensure sales targets are communicated and achieved.
• Manage, motivate and develop a nationwide team of Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to improve business performance.
• Work with Branch Managers to maximise sales opportunities across the retail network.
• Maintain strong focus on customer service, margin management and long-term relationships.
