Job summary

Morgan McKinley is expanding its Mortgage team in Ireland and seeks an experienced Mortgage Broker to manage customers through the full mortgage journey. You will drive sales targets, enhance customer experience, and support the ongoing development of the mortgage sales function in a hybrid role.

Key requirements include end-to-end mortgage brokerage experience and APA (Mortgages) qualification, with QFA or Professional Banker desirable.

Qualifications

• End-to-end mortgage experience in a brokerage is essential.
• APA (Mortgages) qualification essential; QFA or Professional Banker desirable.
• Strong understanding of mortgage regulation and compliance.
• Experience working with credit teams to progress applications.
• Demonstrated success in achieving application-to-completion targets.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion and drawdown.
• Provide proactive and responsive support to customers via digital and remote channels.
• Achieve agreed conversion and completion targets through effective pipeline management.
• Prepare detailed credit assessments to support underwriting decisions.
• Work collaboratively with sales, product, and credit teams to improve processes and outcomes.
• Identify and resolve process challenges in partnership with management.
• Generate additional business through personal networks alongside company-provided leads.
• Report performance and progress against objectives.
