Job summary

Codec Azure in the UK is seeking an expert SharePoint Architect to lead across on-premises and SharePoint Online environments. You will troubleshoot, optimise, and deliver enhancements for clients, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SPFx, and Power Platform, plus extensive migrations experience. This is a full-time, UK-based position with emphasis on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years hands-on SharePoint experience, including architecture and administration.
• Experience with SharePoint migrations (on-premises to SharePoint Online).
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

As we continue to experience rapid growth, we are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Architect to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide expert-level support, administration, and consultancy across Microsoft SharePoint environments both on-premises (SharePoint Server 2013/2016/2019 & Subscription Edition) and SharePoint Online. The role combines advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution with the delivery of enhancements and change for our customers.

Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, the consultant will ensure SharePoint solutions are optimised, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Teams, and integrated systems; perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Manage and maintain (SharePoint Server 2013/2016/2019 & Subscription Edition), including site collections, permissions, content databases, and service applications.
• Configure, monitor, and optimise performance, security, and availability.
• Support migration projects (on-premises to SharePoint Online, tenant-to-tenant, or version upgrades).
• Develop and support custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), TypeScript, React, and modern web technologies.
• Build and maintain solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required skills & experience

• Minimum 5-8 years' hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint, including architecture, service applications, and administration.
• SP data migrations (experience of Sharegate - who also has good experience of PP/CE)
• Proficiency across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Experience working within ticketing systems and SLA-driven environments.

Desirable skills & experience

• 5+ years' experience with Power Platform technologies (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
• Experience with migration tooling such as Sharegate, AvePoint Fly, or LinkFixer Advanced.
• Experience with Teams Phone (Voice).
