Job summary

Spanish Point Technologies is a Dublin-based software company specialising in Microsoft technologies to streamline business processes and boost productivity. As a lead on our Modern Workplace team, you will deliver SharePoint and Power Platform solutions through the full SDLC, using the latest Microsoft AI-enabled tools and Copilot Studio.

You will be involved in architecture, development, consultancy, and training of end users, with opportunities to broaden skills across MS technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years development experience in SharePoint or Power Platform.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in team-leading and managing developer and other IT professionals.
• Experience in customer-facing role including requirements-gathering, hosting workshops and other forms of consultancy.
• Experience in .NET, preferably using C#.
• Good communication skills and organisation skills.

Job Overview

Established in 2005 and headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, we offer consulting and solution building services using Microsoft’s core information worker and related technologies. Our services encompass design, implementation, project management, training, and ongoing technical support.

As a lead on our Modern Workplace team, you will use your experience in architecture, development and consultancy in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 to deliver solutions and services, for our clients through the full Software Development Lifecycle.You will be using the latest versions of Microsoft’sAI Business Solutionplatform technologies for building these solutions. These technologies include.Net/C#, SharePoint/Office365,Power Platform and Copilot.

As part of this challenging role, you will use your existing skills in delivering complex solutions and will have an opportunity to broaden your skills to other key Microsoft technologies including the above and more. You will be exposed to all aspects of solution delivery including business analysis, architecture, development, and training of end users.Custom low-code agent developmentin Copilot Studio alsofalls within the remit of the Modern Workplace practice,meaning you will be at the forefront of modernMicrosoftAI Technology.

Job Requirements

• 5+ Years Development Experience in SharePoint or Power Platform


• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent


• Experience in team-leading and managing developer and other IT professionals


• Experience in customer-facing role including requirements-gathering, hosting workshops and other forms of consultancy


• Experience in .NET, preferably using C#

Advantageous Skills

The following skills and experiences are considered advantageous:

• Experience in SQL Server


• Experience in Copilot Studio or Microsoft Foundry


• Experience in PowerShell scripting particularly with respect to SharePoint


• Experience in working with Sitecore XM Cloud (the Content Management System used for our public websites)


• Experience in modern web programming languages Typescript/React
