The successful candidate will have 3–5 years' experience in estimating and/or procurement for M&E/building services, with strong Excel and estimating software skills, and excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Role Description: We are seeking experienced Mechanical and Electrical Estimators to support our construction projects from tender stage through to construction phase. The successful candidates will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications, preparing detailed take-offs, evaluating supplier quotations for price and suitability, and compiling tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities, schedules of rates and construction budgets, within demanding deadlines.
Following contract award, the role extends into procurement, encompassing the sourcing and negotiation of bids from vendors and subcontractors, liaison with suppliers to secure applicable discounts, identification of long-lead items to safeguard programme and budget requirements, issuance of purchase orders for long-lead and high-value items, and ongoing order tracking through to site delivery. The role also carries responsibility for spend management, contributing to cost efficiencies across the procurement function.
This position requires strong analytical and negotiation capabilities, together with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timeframes.
