Hero Recruitment Group in Galway is seeking a technically skilled Technician to support advanced manufacturing lines for life-saving medical devices. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with collaboration across Engineering and Maintenance teams.

You will work day/evening shifts with defined hours, gain SQL training, and contribute to safety and quality in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The successful candidate enjoys problem-solving, is comfortable with learning new systems,

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work well in a small team and communicate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, escalate complex problems to Engineering or Maintenance teams.
• Investigate scrap and yield issues with Manufacturing Engineers to improve processes.
• Support Process Improvement initiatives across manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team of Technicians and Production Core Teams across 3–4 key processes.
• Record maintenance activities in internal systems; prepare yield updates in PowerPoint; manage handovers via Teams and Excel.
• Utilise SQL databases to interact with equipment data and optimize performance.
• Commit to safety and quality standards in all tasks.
