Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, escalate complex problems to Engineering or Maintenance teams.
• Investigate scrap and yield issues with Manufacturing Engineers to improve processes.
• Support Process Improvement initiatives across manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team of Technicians and Production Core Teams across 3–4 key processes.
• Record maintenance activities in internal systems; prepare yield updates in PowerPoint; manage handovers via Teams and Excel.
• Utilise SQL databases to interact with equipment data and optimize performance.
• Commit to safety and quality standards in all tasks.

This Technician role offers the opportunity to support advanced manufacturing lines, combining your technical skills with impactful contributions to life-saving medical devices.

Shifts Available:

Days: 06:30 to 14:30 Monday to Friday

Nights: 22:30 to 06:30 Sunday night to Thursday night (30% shift allowance)

Evenings: 14:30 to 22:30 Monday to Friday (20% shift allowance)

Weekend: 06:30 to 18:30 Saturday and Sunday, balance of hours weekdays (25% shift allowance)

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Support: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and elevate complex problems to Engineering or Maintenance teams when necessary.
• Yield Management: Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to investigate and resolve scrap and yield issues related to equipment and processes.
• Process Improvement: Experience with Process Improvement.
• Team Collaboration: Work as part of a close-knit team of approximately six Technicians and Production Core Teams across 3–4 key processes.
• System Utilisation: Record maintenance activities in internal systems, use PowerPoint for yield updates, and manage handovers via Teams and Excel.
• Database Interaction: Utilise SQL databases (training provided) to interact with equipment data and optimise performance.
• Commitment to Safety and Quality: Execute all tasks with the highest regard for safety standards and quality protocols.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with electrical or mechanical troubleshooting is highly advantageous.
• A team player with effective communication skills.
• Comfortable with learning new systems and tools; SQL training will be provided.
