Job summary

Hero Recruitment Group in Galway is seeking a Technician to support advanced manufacturing lines for life-saving medical devices. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with a close-knit team to resolve complex issues.

The role focuses on safety and quality, with exposure to pneumatics, data capture in internal systems, and SQL-based data queries. Training will be provided to learn the databases and tools as you contribute to yield improvements across

Qualifications

Experience troubleshooting electrical or mechanical equipment.
Team player with good communication skills.
Willing to learn new systems; SQL training provided.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and escalate to Engineering or Maintenance when needed.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to investigate scrap and yield issues.
Work as part of a team of technicians across multiple processes.
Understand pneumatics and system utilities.
Record maintenance activities in internal systems; use PowerPoint for yield updates; handovers via Teams and Excel.
Utilize SQL databases (training provided) to interact with equipment data and optimize performance.
Commit to safety and quality standards.
