Job summary

Dexcom Ireland - Athenry seeks an Engineering Technician 2 to support equipment engineers in scaling up manufacturing for Dexcom products. You will work with schematics, perform testing, fault isolation, and documentation, while coordinating with outside suppliers to meet specs and timelines in a fast-paced setting.

Strong emphasis on hands-on problem solving, communication, and technical writing to ensure safe, compliant equipment development and transfer.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to create technical documentation.
• Experience with PLC and automated production equipment and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, checkout, and fault isolation of automated equipment.
• Analyse and record test results and prepare documentation.
• Support equipment deployment with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Follow safety, LOTO procedures and update manuals/drawings as needed.
