Job summary

Dexcom Ireland in Ireland (Athenry) is seeking a Lab Technician III (Chemistry) to support manufacturing in a GMP chemistry laboratory. You will execute Dexcom’s manufacturing processes, perform analytical testing, calibrations and maintenance across a 24/7 operation on a 12-hour Friday–Sunday shift with Thursday rotation.

The role requires 4–6 years in medical device/pharma or 0–1 years with a level 8 degree, and strong attention to detail, problem solving and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 4-6 years of related experience and Leaving Certificate/equivalent qualification (L5), or 0-1 years experience and minimum level 8 degree
• 4-6 years medical device and/or pharmaceutical and/or cleanroom experience
• Experienced in a chemistry laboratory supporting manufacturing operations
• Attention to detail and experience troubleshooting equipment
• Be punctual and complete tasks efficiently
• Team player and growth mindset
• Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills
• Fluent spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing processes and testing procedures to the highest level of quality and precision
• Manage laboratory equipment including daily calibrations, preventative maintenance, analytical testing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• Maintain and quality-document GMP processes and safe laboratory practices
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures under QMS and contribute to Right First Time principles
• Record and report data, observations, and root cause analyses
