Job summary

Dexcom is hiring a Production Operator for our night shift in Athenry, Ireland. You will operate semi-automated and automated equipment in a cleanroom environment, performing precision assembly and data entry while adhering to GMP and SOPs.

The role requires a Leaving Certificate or Level 5, 2+ years in medical device manufacturing, and strong dexterity and attention to detail. A 30% shift premium applies to night hours, with a 12-hour shift pattern and weekend consistency.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (or Level 5 equivalent) required.
• 2+ years in medical device or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
• Comfort with repetitive, hands-on assembly tasks.
• Good computer literacy and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor semi-automated and automated equipment.
• Carry out routine manual tasks such as handling components, loading materials, and supporting assembly processes.
• Perform precise, dexterity-based assembly tasks and maintain consistent output.
• Perform in-process checks to ensure product quality.
• Complete packaging, labeling, material movement, and required data entry.
• Follow all GMP, SOPs, batch records, and cleanroom protocols, completing documentation accurately.
• Report any deviations, defects, or safety concerns immediately and support quality and yield targets.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members, ensuring clear communication and smooth shift handovers.
• Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Achieve competency within training timelines and consistently meet output and quality KPIs.
