Dexcom Ireland is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to support the scale-up of manufacturing for Dexcom products. You will test, troubleshoot and validate automated equipment, liaising with cross-functional teams to meet equipment specifications and timelines.

Your background includes PLC/electro/mechanical systems, pneumatics, robotics, and a drive for process improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is based in Ireland with 0–5% travel and a strong safety culture.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and 2–4 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents related to equipment specifications.
• Experience with PLC and Automated production/process equipment, pneumatics, and electro/mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills.
• Experience with process improvement projects such as improving yields and reducing downtime.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support to equipment engineers for installation, validation and transfer of automated equipment.
• Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
• Operate, test and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Document test results and write routine reports and pass downs.
• Follow safety procedures and update equipment documentation as needed.
