Job summary

Dexcom Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Associate 2 (MA2) to produce CGM devices in a cleanroom, operating semi-automated and automated equipment. The role features a fixed night shift pattern: 12-hour shifts 7pm–7am, Monday to Wednesday plus alternate Thursdays, with a 30% shift premium.

The position requires a Leaving Certificate (or Level 5), 2+ years in medical device manufacturing, and a strong eye for detail, teamwork and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (or Level 5 equivalent) is required.
• 2+ years in medical device or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
• Comfort with repetitive, hands-on assembly tasks.
• Good computer literacy and mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable, adaptable, and team oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor semi-automated and automated equipment.
• Carry out routine manual tasks such as handling components and loading materials.
• Perform precise, dexterity-based assembly tasks with consistent output.
• Conduct in-process checks to ensure product quality.
• Complete packaging, labelling, material movement, and data entry.
• Follow GMP/SOPs and cleanroom protocols, document accurately.
• Report deviations or safety concerns promptly and support KPIs.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement culture.
