Job summary

Cohesity Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support high-volume manufacturing of storage server platforms. You will apply technical expertise to drive manufacturing excellence across products and global contract manufacturing networks.

The role focuses on optimizing processes, reducing costs, and improving quality while collaborating with engineering, operations, supply chain, and external partners to enable launch readiness and scalable production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 1–2 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering or product industrialization.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems; Arena experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive optimization, qualification, and continuous improvement of complex manufacturing processes, ensuring packaging, tooling, and production documentation are delivered on schedule.
  • Improve product manufacturability by reducing cost, enhancing quality, and influencing technical design decisions.
  • Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities, driving corrective actions through to closure.
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies with suppliers and contract manufacturers to improve production efficiency, scalability, and supply continuity.
