Job summary

Cohesity is the leader in AI-powered data security and is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to support global manufacturing operations. The role ensures material availability, supplier execution, and procurement excellence across a growing supply chain.

You will collaborate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to sustain supply continuity and enable successful new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in tech or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, demand planning, and supplier management.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and global suppliers.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor demand and supplier commitments to production requirements.
• Create and track purchase orders to ensure timely material availability.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to resolve shortages.
• Maintain procurement data including pricing calendars and lead times.
• Support inventory management by monitoring supply-demand gaps.
• Assist with new product introduction (NPI) activities including procurement readiness.
• Track supplier performance and drive improvements.
• Support cost reduction initiatives through pricing analysis.
• Monitor allocations, tariffs, and market conditions affecting materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business priorities (NPI, RFP).
• Generate reports on material availability and supplier status.
• Escalate supply issues and coordinate cross-functional resolutions.
• Process procurement requests to purchase orders in Coupa.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and contracts.
• Support continuous improvement for efficiency and data accuracy.
