Job summary

AWS is seeking a highly analytical Mfg Ops Engineer to manage contract manufacturing vendor relationships and drive operational excellence in high-velocity manufacturing operations. You will lead end-to-end partnerships with CM/OEM/ODM vendors for servers and rack integration, optimizing cost, quality, and delivery across AWS data centers globally.

You will act as the primary escalation point for vendor-related issues, manage material flow and logistics, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau).
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, optimization and logistics.
• Experience engaging and influencing senior executives in enterprise customers.
• Experience with customers and strong analytical/communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing time.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
• Experience delivering complex projects with ownership of mission-critical teams/products.
