Parker Stewart Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a GMP manufacturing site in Longford. This permanent role operates on a 12-hour shift pattern (days/nights) with a 33% shift allowance.
You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, fault-find from schematics on PLCs and robotics, and support packaging, utilities and audits.
We're hiring on behalf of a leading multinational medical devices and diagnostics manufacturer with a large, long-established site in Co. Longford.
You’ll join the maintenance team on a 12-hour shift pattern, keeping automated production and packaging equipment running in a GMP environment. On your shift you will often be the technician the line relies on, so this suits someone who can fault-find on their own and document it properly afterwards.
The reality of the role: This is shift work - a 4-on, 4-off pattern of two 12-hour days followed by two 12-hour nights, then four days off. Nights are part of every cycle, so be honest with yourself about that. In return you get a 33% shift allowance on top of base, a lot of time off, and some of the most advanced manufacturing equipment in the country to work on.
Ardagh, Co. Longford - on-site. Permanent. Excellent salary plus 33% shift allowance.
You must be based in Ireland with valid working rights in Ireland to be considered.
