Job summary

CREGG is recruiting a Maintenance/Process Technician for a Day Shift in Galway, onsite with a leading medical device company. The role requires a strong electro/mechanical background and hands-on problem solving skills, with a 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday schedule.

Candidates with production line maintenance experience or strong mechanical/electrical background are encouraged to apply. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to troubleshoot, improve methods, and ensure quality through

Qualifications

• Strong electro/mechanical or maintenance background with hands-on equipment problem solving.
• Troubleshooting and fault finding skills; carry out scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance.
• Yield management: ability to manage yield on an hour-by-hour basis and analyse trends.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated paperwork and records.
• Communication skills to explain and communicate issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 1 year experience in similar role OR Level 6 trade qualified.
• Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardising and improving existing production methods and procedures.
• Assist ME’s in investigating and implementing new production methods.
• Assist ME’s in design methods, part sourcing and documentation.

CREGG are now hiring a Technician to work Day Shift onsite with a leading multinational Medical Device company in Galway. Candidates with production line maintenance or strong mechanical/electrical background encouraged to apply!

The successful candidate will work on the day shift. 7am-3pm Monday-Friday

Requirements

• Strong Electro/Mechanical or Maintenance background with hands on equipment problem solving.
