Job summary

Parker Stewart Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a GMP manufacturing site in Longford. This permanent role operates on a 12-hour shift pattern (days/nights) with a 33% shift allowance.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, fault-find from schematics on PLCs and robotics, and support packaging, utilities and audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' maintenance experience in manufacturing, GMP or regulated environment.
• Trade or degree qualification (apprenticeship or NFQ Level 6/7 or engineering degree).
• Able to fault-find mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC and control systems.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights) and on a 4-on/4-off pattern.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Fault-finding from schematics on automated lines - PLCs, control systems, robots and vision systems.
• Supporting printers and coding systems, packaging and production equipment.
• Looking after utilities - water systems, pumps, boilers and HVAC.
• Logging work in the CMMS and closing out the defect-to-work-order loop.
• Completing GMP documentation accurately and supporting audits.
• Running the shift on your own when needed, and passing on what you know to newer technicians.
