Job summary

Noel Group based in Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Westmeath-based manufacturing operation. You will maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime, supporting a world-class production environment.

The role offers excellent training, a competitive €56,000 salary, and a modern growing plant with a team‑oriented culture. You will work rotating day/evening/night shifts, Monday to Friday, with scope for development.

Qualifications

• Qualified maintenance technician or level 6 qualification.
• Previous experience in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate on rotating shifts – day, evening, night on a Monday to Friday basis.
• Be living in Westmeath or surrounding areas with own transport.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic issues with minimal downtime.
• Attend breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions.
• Lead and participate in projects to improve manufacturing processes.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the site.

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician on behalf of our growing client, based in Co Westmeath.Our client manufactures innovative products for customers worldwide and has a world-class manufacturing operation with significant investment in automation, technology, and advanced production processes.

They need someone with previous mechanical maintenance/ fitting experience who can maintain and troubleshoot issues with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Key responsibilities include:
