Job summary

Crosscare Irish Diaspora Support Project invites applications for a Maintenance General Operative to maintain and improve Crosscare buildings across Dublin. You will perform general maintenance, light construction tasks, and safety-conscious duties under supervision.

The role requires basic maintenance experience, a valid driving license (desirable), and Safe Pass. Benefits include competitive salaries and opportunities for training, with a permanent contract and 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Prior Health & Safety exposure is desirable.
• Full Clean Driving License (desirable).
• Safe Pass Qualification (desirable).
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and minor improvement works across Dublin buildings.
• General building duties including waste removal, loading/unloading materials, and site cleaning.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Assist with carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and ground works as required.
• Support Health & Safety policy implementation with the team.
