Job summary

Dorrian Construction are recruiting a General Operative for construction projects across Donegal. You will assist tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction activities, load and organise materials, and perform labouring duties while following safety procedures.

Ideal candidates will hold a Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate, be reliable and punctual, and have access to transport. Previous labouring experience is desirable, and the role involves working as part of a site

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Safe Pass.
• Hold a valid Manual Handling certificate.
• Previous experience in construction or general labouring would be desirable.
• Be physically capable of carrying out manual and demanding site work.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to transport, which would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction activities.
• Load, unload, move and organise building materials and equipment.
• Carry out general labouring duties, including site preparation and clean-up.
• Operate basic tools and equipment as required.
• Follow all site instructions, risk assessments, and health and safety procedures.
• Wear the required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required by site management.
