Job summary

Castle Employment Group is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias for a UK-based manufacturing site. The role operates on a two-shift pattern (6am–2pm / 10am–6pm) with 40 hours weekly, plus overtime.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, document activities in CMMS, and support production to minimise downtime. You’ll install/move machinery and work with suppliers in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance on factory equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and document maintenance in CMMS.
• Ability to work in a two-shift pattern and respond to breakdowns.

A well-established leading manufacturing company based in Malton is looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join the business. This role is working on a 2-shift pattern to include 6am/2pm - 10am/6pm, earlies and days.

Thesuccessful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults as well as ensuring all planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.
• Working with production responding to machinery breakdowns ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Supporting Operations team to achieve targets.
• You will be responsible for working through the planned maintenance schedule and carrying out any machinery upgrades.
• You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications of new and older machinery and working with equipment suppliers to achieve this.
• Thinking outside of the box and being a really strong team player who can use own initiative.
