Job summary

Castle Employment Group is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias for a UK-based manufacturing site. The role operates on a two-shift pattern (6am–2pm / 10am–6pm) with 40 hours weekly, plus overtime.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, document activities in CMMS, and support production to minimise downtime. You’ll install/move machinery and work with suppliers in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance on factory equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and document maintenance in CMMS.
• Ability to work in a two-shift pattern and respond to breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Attend machinery breakdowns and diagnose faults.
• Carry out planned maintenance and document on CMMS.
• Respond to production breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Support operations to achieve targets.
• Carry out machinery installations/moves and work with suppliers.
• Work as part of a team and show initiative.
