Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing operation. In this hands‑on role you will install, maintain and support a wide range of equipment, working on a rotating shift (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm) with on‑call weeks.

You will work with a skilled team to ensure equipment reliability, diagnose faults, carry out preventive maintenance and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification with minimum 1 year of industrial experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with PM software.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Flexible, collaborative, with good communication.
• Comfort with shift work and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures and control systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and operational issues.
• Advise production teams to optimise plant efficiency.
• Work from drawings and install electrical devices to standards.
• Monitor equipment and identify hazards or adjustment needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors.
