Job summary

Cashel Palace invites an experienced Sous Chef to join The Bishops Buttery’s culinary team in Cashel. This is a full-time role within a luxury, award-winning kitchen environment, reporting to the Head Chef.

You will support daily operations, uphold top quality and hygiene, lead a motivated team, and manage stations and stock. Flexibility across outlets is essential in this high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as Sous Chef or senior CDP.
• Experience in fine dining and high-volume luxury hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to adapt across a fast-paced, multi-outlet operation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Maintain highest standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene.
• Lead and motivate team members, supporting training and development.
• Manage sections, rotas and stock as required.
• Step in across different kitchen areas as business needs dictate.
