Job summary

Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel is seeking a Night Porter to join the Front Office team in Ireland. The role requires delivering high standards of service during night operations and ensuring guest safety and security throughout the hotel.

The successful candidate will be punctual, professional, and capable of coordinating with other departments to meet guest needs while upholding the hotel's luxury standards. Prior hospitality experience is desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in line with departmental Standards Manual (Leading Quality Assurance) and ensure that the Night Porter checklist is fully completed by the end of the shift.
• To carry out fire walks in accordance with night operation and guest safety in mind and to be fully conversant with the fire procedures for the whole hotel including assistance in the fire evacuation as directed by the night manager.
• To carry out cleaning duties as requested by the night manager (vacuuming, buffing and cleaning all public areas e.g. lobby, bar, restaurant and public toilets)
• To take and carry out room service orders. Preparation of food and beverages to all guests during the night, to their bedrooms or in lobby areas
• To liaise with other departments to ensure that all guest requests are attended to efficiently.
