The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is seeking an In-Room Dining Waiter at Ashford Castle, Cong, Co.Mayo, Ireland. This role offers casual employment with a 5 over 7 pattern in a luxury hotel environment, delivering personalised in-room dining experiences to discerning guests.

You will join a legendary property known for Forbes Five-Star status, providing polished service, attention to detail, and seamless guest interactions in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• A passion for hospitality and delivering discreet, high-end service.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a key part of the team.
• Previous experience in room service or a similar position in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, courteously, and in line with hotel standards.
• Accurately take in-room dining orders, ensuring any guest preferences or allergies are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
• Present and set up trays or trolleys in guest rooms to a high standard, ensuring a polished, elegant service.
• Respond to guest requests efficiently and professionally, anticipating their needs whenever possible.
• Collect trays and trolleys from rooms in a timely manner, maintaining discretion and cleanliness in corridors.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel service standards at all times.
