Job summary

The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the luxury Ashford Castle culinary team in Cong, County Mayo, Ireland.

You will help maintain high cleanliness standards, support the kitchen staff, and ensure all areas comply with Health & Safety and HACCP guidelines. The role offers full-time hours, 5 days over 7, with weekends and bank holidays expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen porter or cleaning roles preferred.
• Ability to work 3–4 days over 7, including weekends.
• Good communication and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen areas in a safe, clean, hygienic condition.
• Carry out cleaning duties according to the kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists accurately.
• Support the kitchen team by ensuring work areas and utensils are clean and ready.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and HACCP guidelines at all times.
