Job summary

Park Hotel Kenmare, a distinguished Relais & Châteaux property in Kenmare, Ireland, is seeking an experienced supervisor/manager to lead Guest Services and oversee daily hotel operations. You will coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and other departments while maintaining top service standards and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years in a supervisory hotel role, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with hotel systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and departments effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Guest Services: act as main contact for guest inquiries, concerns and requests; provide personalized service to VIPs and regulars; handle complaints with diplomacy.
• Operational Oversight: oversee daily hotel operations during your shift; ensure policies, health & safety and standards; conduct walkthroughs of public areas and rooms.
• Staff Management: supervise and support hotel staff; assist in scheduling and coverage; lead by example.
• Crisis Management: act as first point of contact during emergencies; coordinate with security and management.
• Leadership and Training: mentor and train staff; address performance issues and escalate when necessary.
• Guest Relations: build relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and positive reviews; manage feedback with senior management.
