Job summary

Park Hotel Kenmare, a Relais & Châteaux property, seeks a Reservations & Events Manager to lead reservations operations and maximise room revenue while upholding the hotel’s luxury brand standards. The role requires experience in high-end hospitality, exceptional organisational skills and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest service.

The successful candidate will oversee the reservations team, support events, manage rate structures, and collaborate with Sales, Front Office and VIP guests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is desirable but not essential.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in luxury hotel reservations, front office or sales environment.
• Strong working knowledge of hotel PMS/CRS platforms (Guestline, Opera, Hotsoft or similar).
• Proven understanding of revenue management, pricing strategies and yield optimisation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the reservations department to ensure efficient and seamless booking processes.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by handling all reservation enquiries (telephone, email and online) professionally.
• Manage room inventory in collaboration with Front Office and Sales to maximise occupancy and direct bookings.
• Load and maintain contracted rates, FIT rates, group rates and promotional pricing.
• Create and maintain package rules, supplements and product configurations to support revenue objectives.
• Train, mentor and support the reservations and reception teams to optimise processes.
