Job summary

Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links is seeking an experienced General Manager, Food & Beverage to lead our on-site dining operations. You will oversee three outlets, banqueting, and high-profile events, driving guest satisfaction and luxury service.

The role requires a proven track record in multi‑outlet F&B leadership, strong financial acumen, and a passion for hospitality, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by resort operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a GM or senior F&B leader in a multi-outlet resort or hotel.
• Strong track record delivering guest experiences in luxury settings.
• Strong financial acumen and P&L management.
• Excellent leadership and team development.
• Experience with banqueting/events at scale (weddings, conferences).
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience; Irish food & drink culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all restaurants and banqueting/event spaces.
• Set and deliver F&B budgets, cost controls, and revenue targets.
• Monitor P&L performance and determine business priorities.
• Recruit, train, and develop leadership and front‑line teams.
• Champion luxury service standards and guest experience across all outlets.
• Partner with Sales & Events on weddings, conferences, and events.
• Develop menus and beverage programmes reflecting the resort's Irish whiskey heritage.
• Report to senior management on performance and guest feedback.
