Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the function bars, Parterre cocktail bar, and the Coach House Brasserie.
• Lead and inspire a team of bartenders and bar staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Recruit, train, and develop bar staff to deliver high standards of service.
• Create and maintain comprehensive bar menus in collaboration with the F&B Manager and Executive Chef.
• Develop strategies to promote the bars and increase revenue.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to optimize costs.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and integrate new products and cocktails.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
• Develop and implement effective bar SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Collaborate with Events Manager to coordinate bar service for functions and events.
• Work with the Chef and F&B Manager to integrate bar service with kitchen operations.
• Conduct regular bar meetings and training sessions to enhance performance.
• Monitor sales and revenue performance and generate reports for management.
• Contribute to overall business strategies and initiatives.
