Job summary

Queally Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support global movement of raw materials and finished goods. You will coordinate shipments, maintain documentation, and work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Role requires strong Excel/Outlook skills, high attention to detail, and effective communication. Candidate may support various departments and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent Excel and Outlook skills are essential.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock availability and effective stock rotation.
  • Schedule and monitor shipments, ensuring on-time delivery in line with orders.
  • Coordinate with transport providers for timely collections and deliveries.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and verify transport invoices.
  • Support Sales and Operations by tracking orders and aligning supply with demand.
  • Manage logistics-related aspects of sales contracts (timing, credit checks, product availability).
  • Act as a key contact for suppliers, transporters, and customers to resolve issues.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain and delivery challenges.
  • Assist Technical Manager with administrative tasks and participate in logistics/technical projects.

To coordinate and support logistics operations for the effective and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods globally, and to support the technical administration of products and suppliers.

Reports To

Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock availability and effective stock rotation
  • Schedule and monitor shipments, ensuring on-time delivery of goods in line with order requirements
  • Coordinate and communicate with transport providers to arrange timely collections and deliveries
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation and records, including processing and verifying transport invoices
  • Support the Sales and Operations teams by tracking sales orders and aligning supply with demand
  • Manage sales contracts from a logistics perspective (timing, credit checks, product availability)
  • Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, vendors, transporters, and customers to resolve any logistical issues
  • Proactively identify and solve supply chain and delivery challenges
  • Support Technical Manager with administrative skills
  • Participate in logistics and technical projects and propose cost-saving and efficiency improvements
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders (sales, traders, customers) on supply, order status, or delivery delays
  • Liaise with the Department of Agriculture and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all veterinary and export procedures
  • Maintain strong credit control awareness in collaboration with finance teams
  • Support other departments and business demands as required

Skills / Qualifications / Experience
  • Experience in logistics would be desirable but not essential
  • Good Excel, Outlook, and general data entry skills are essential
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be considered, based on relevant experience, training, or voluntary work
