Job summary

Three Ireland is recruiting a Financial Analyst / Inventory Accountant to support the Supply Chain & Logistics function. Reporting to the SCL Finance Manager, you’ll handle financial control, reporting, and day-to-day finance activities affecting inventory and costs.

This hands-on role requires accuracy, strong analytical skills, and collaborative relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, warehouse, Product Management and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Relevant finance, accounting or business qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Part-qualified or finalist in ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA.
• Experience in financial and management accounting, reporting and financial controls.
• Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience in a Supply Chain & Logistics environment is desirable.
• Experience using Oracle or a similar ERP system is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support to Supply Chain & Logistics, ensuring controls and processes are maintained.
• Support logistics transactions with accurate timely processing.
• Assist order management, escalating issues to Oracle support when required and following through to resolution.
• Track and monitor in-transit transactions, investigate stock and transaction discrepancies.
• Support month-end accounting, analysis and reporting for logistics expenses and inventory.
• Collaborate with warehousing and product management to ensure accurate accounting for costs, stock and provisions.
• Liaise with key suppliers to provide accurate financial and operational information.
• Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses.
• Ensure transactions and reporting comply with processes, controls and policies.
• Identify and raise financial, process or control issues as appropriate.
• Support wider Finance and business projects as required by the SCL Finance Manager.
