Job summary

Quest Recruitment is seeking a senior loan operations leader to oversee the operational delivery of multiple client portfolios. You will lead a team of loan professionals, ensure accurate processing, and maintain a robust control environment across syndicated and bilateral facilities.

You will drive client delivery quality, manage escalations, and work with treasury and relationship teams to optimize workflows and onboarding of new portfolios.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Opportunity

You will lead the operational delivery of multiple client portfolios, overseeing a team of loan professionals and ensuring that all loan activity is processed accurately, efficiently and within a robust control environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing syndicated and bilateral loan portfolios comprising approximately 50–100 facilities
• Managing and developing a team of portfolio or loan operations professionals
• Taking ownership of client delivery, service quality and operational escalations
• Overseeing drawdowns, repayments, interest, fees, invoicing and remittance activity
• Ensuring cash movements and amounts due are collected, processed and reconciled
• Coordinating portfolio funding requirements with treasury teams
• Supporting the review and interpretation of loan and credit documentation
• Maintaining a strong operational control environment
• Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, controls and operating models
• Supporting the onboarding of new clients, portfolios and team members
• Working closely with relationship management, treasury and wider operational teams

About You

You will ideally bring:

• Significant experience within loan operations, loan servicing, private credit, debt services, fund administration or portfolio monitoring
• Strong knowledge of syndicated and bilateral loan structures
• Experience managing loan lifecycle events and complex operational workflows
• A successful track record of leading and developing teams
• Strong client relationship and escalation-management experience
• A detailed understanding of operational controls, reconciliations and risk
• The ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Sentry, WSO, ClearPar, Cassiopae or comparable loan operations platforms would be a distinct advantage.
