Job summary

RTÉ, Irelands national public-service broadcaster, is forming a panel of Media Operators to provide flexible operational support from Donnybrook, Dublin. The panel offers casual irregular contracts with pay between €22.58 and €27.55 per hour.

You will administer and govern media across CMS, support live production workflows, coordinate with editorial and technical teams, and contribute to improving efficiency through automation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experienced media professional with a proven track record in Media Operations.
• Strong understanding of media systems, broadcasting operations, formats and standards.
• Experience with live studio production and content management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, import, QC, transform and maintain media across production and content management systems.
• Provide media governance across CMS and storage systems.
• Support production, live studio and fast-turnaround programming with ingest, edit, playback, clipping, compilation or chase-play related activity.
• Support broadcast and live media ingest workflows, including administrative tasks, circuit bookings and scheduling, recording and monitoring of incoming feeds, files and media.
• Monitor media workflows, schedules and tasks to ensure content is available within agreed timelines and liaise with editorial, production, technical and operational teams.
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across RTÉ, delivering high-quality service.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate workflows and contribute to knowledge sharing and adoption of new tools.
