Job summary

RTÉ, Ireland's national public-service media organisation, is seeking a Media Operator panel member to support the Media Management team in Dublin. The role involves administering media across production and content management systems and ensuring timely delivery for live and scheduled programming.

Qualifications

• Experienced media professional with a solid background in Media Operations.
• Strong understanding of media systems, broadcasting operations, formats and standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer, import, QC, transform and maintain media across production and content management systems.
• Provide media governance across content management and storage systems.
• Support production, live studio and fast-turnaround programming with ingest, edit, playback, clipping, compilation or chase-play tasks.
• Support broadcast and live media ingest workflows including circuit bookings and scheduling of media.
• Monitor media workflows and coordinating with editorial, production, technical and operational teams to meet deadlines.
• Build productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and deliver high-quality service.
• Identify and help resolve operational issues and contribute to process improvements.
