We are responsible for ensuring the high quality of RTÉ’s output across multiple platforms, overseeing the preparation, review and/or output of RTÉ’s channels and content, ensuring that content is seamlessly delivered across all platforms, to the highest standards. This position is crucial to maintaining high-quality content standards and addressing any technical or editorial discrepancies as they arise.

This role may require flexible working, outside of core hours, to oversee live events, operational obligations, or programming overnight or across global time zones e.g. election coverage, award ceremonies, clock change etc. The panel will be formed for a period of one year as a support to the Platform Control team, in particular covering planned and unplanned absences. It may also be used to fill future vacancies that may arise. Applicants who are successful in achieving a place on the Panel may be contracted on a casual irregular contract basis* and paid at an appropriate rate on the Platform Editor salary scale between €22.59 and €31.73 gross per hour (subject to relevant skills, knowledge and experience).
