Job Title: Broadcast Technician Location: Dublin, Ireland Employment Type: Permanent Department: Operations Reports To: Head of Operations, Ireland #LI-Hybrid #LI-MR1 * This is a full-time permanent position, based in our Ireland office. We operate on a hybrid working arrangement and require a minimum of 2 days in the office. Overview

Fifty5Blue has been awarded the contract to deliver the Television Audience Measurement service in the Republic of Ireland from January 2028. As part of this, we will build a new panel to measure television consumption across the Republic of Ireland, using our state-of-the‑art metering technology and backend systems to deliver high‑quality, accurate data to the industry every day. The Broadcast Technician will be handling day to day data processing across multiple systems; including Cloud-hosted and remotely-hosted on-prem services. A level of bash scripting and scheduling is critical. They will need to engage with cross-functional teams who will be expecting daily reports on the delivery of files, parameter-changes, and performance levels on systems. A good knowledge of cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes, terraform etc is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and updating Reference sites, with particular focus on changes to linear TV channels.
• Monitoring data processing through all stages of the production cycle.
• Installing/testing new bespoke software releases to ensure any issues are identified before Production deployment.
• Liaising closely with Applications Development and Support teams to identify any production bottlenecks or upgrades that will feed into the refresh cycle.
• Managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Testing changes to configurations and system changes to non-production servers.
• Implementing alerting systems to help with monitoring of various systems.
• Troubleshooting various network and infrastructure related issues in Azure cloud services and Linux systems.
• Working with the wider Fifty5Blue team to ensure SLA’s and project deadlines are met.
