Job summary

MCD Productions in Ireland promotes and delivers live music events across the country. We are seeking a Ticketing Coordinator to join our events team and help manage ticket sales and coordination for shows in Dublin and beyond.

You will prepare sales reports, set up new shows, manage holds, and liaise with agents to maximise revenue while meeting tight deadlines. Strong ticketing experience and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Natural interpersonal and communicative abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior ticketing experience preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of ticket sales reports and forwarding to agents in accordance with agreed schedule.
  • Preparing and forwarding venue maps detailing seats sold/comped/held/unsold, camera positions, etc.
  • Preparing and submitting manifests in accordance with requirements.
  • Setting-up new shows for sale, including prices and price-break maps for circulation to Ticketmaster/Live Nation.
  • Providing updates to relevant agents/management on ticket sales and trends.
  • Determination of ticket hold requirements, monitor and reduce/release where appropriate.
  • Ensuring effective monitoring and communication of ticket holds to allow for timely sale of surplus tickets.
  • Contacting tours to obtain information for work immigration purposes.
  • Review, development and enhancement of ticket coordination to optimise revenues and minimise potential loss of sales.
  • Working under pressure and to strict deadlines while maintaining quality and customer focus.
