Job summary

MCD Productions is seeking a proactive Ticketing Assistant in Dublin as part of the Live Nation promotions network. You will assist with ticketing campaigns, prepare sales reports, and support coordination across sales channels.

Responsibilities include setting up new shows for sale, managing ticket holds, and liaising with agents and management to optimize revenue and minimize loss. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ticket sales reports and forward to agents as scheduled.
  • Prepare and forward venue maps showing seats sold, comped, held, and unsold.
  • Prepare and submit manifests in accordance with requirements.
  • Set up new shows for sale, including prices and price-break maps.
  • Provide updates to agents/management on ticket sales and trends.
  • Monitor ticket holds (including Platinum and VIP) and coordinate releases.

Promoting the best in home grown talent, and working with a host of internationally renowned artists, MCD also promotes annual music festivals such as Longitude and Vital among others.**The Vision**MCD Productions is currently inviting applications from passionate individuals who are determined to do great work in delivering exceptional campaigns – resulting in sold out venues and an unforgettable two hours of magic.**Core Responsibilities**The successful candidate will be responsible for the:* Preparation of ticket sales reports and forwarding to agents in accordance with agreed schedule* Preparing and forwarding venue maps detailing seats sold/comped/held/unsold, camera positions, etc.* Preparing and submitting manifests in accordance with requirements* Setting-up new shows for sale, to include prices for seats and price-break maps as well as the circulation to Ticketmaster/Live Nation as required* Providing updates to relevant agents/management on ticket sales and trends* Determination of ticket hold requirements, monitor and reduce/release (as appropriate)* Ensuring effective monitoring and communication of ticket holds – including Platinum and VIP (at appropriate times) to allow for timely sale of surplus tickets* Contacting tours to obtain information for work immigration purposes* Review, development and enhancement of ticket coordination to optimise revenues and minimise potential for loss of sales* Working under pressure and to strict deadlines – while maintaining quality/accuracy and internal customer focusYou will support a dynamic team in delivering professional campaigns against ambitious timelines**Skill & Knowledge Requirements*** Strong time management and task prioritisation abilities* Flexibility, resourcefulness and a high level of creativity* Excellent written and oral communication skills* Natural interpersonal and communicative abilities* Strong organisation skills/experience* Prior Ticketing Experience preferable**Equal Opportunities**We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
