Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events in Ireland is seeking an Events Team Manager to lead a high-performing Life Sciences events team and drive end-to-end meetings, congress activity and HCP engagement programs. You’ll balance people leadership with hands-on planning, ensuring timelines, budgets, compliance controls and brand guidelines are met, while building strong client and stakeholder relationships in onsite, high-touch environments.

Travel to events may be required; rights to work in Ireland required.

Qualifications

• English fluency, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills that help manage budgets and monitor performance.
• Experience leading and supporting a geographically distributed team.
• Ability to drive service improvements and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams, balancing workloads and helping people grow.
• Manage Life Sciences meetings from kick-off to close-out with timelines, budgets, and compliance.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships in onsite, high-touch environments.
• Handle venue sourcing, contracting, attendee management, room blocks, and event technology like Cvent.
• Improve processes, solve problems quickly, and keep SOPs and KPIs audit-ready.
