Job summary

RECRUITERS is seeking an experienced External Sales Representative to own the Leinster territory in the electrical industry. You will build relationships with contractors, wholesalers, consultants and specifiers while driving profitable sales growth.

This field-based role requires a proven track record, strong product and distribution knowledge, excellent communication and CRM use, and the ability to travel throughout Leinster.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in the electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of panel builder products and distribution channels.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in field roles.
• Ability to establish long-term relationships with contractors and wholesalers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of electrical customers across Leinster.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, wholesalers, consultants and specifiers.
• Conduct customer visits, prepare tailored quotations and follow up on opportunities.
• Achieve sales, margin, activity and customer-development targets.
• Maintain CRM records, sales pipelines, forecasts and customer visit reports; monitor market activity.
• Work closely with internal sales, operations, purchasing and technical teams to deliver a high standard of customer service.
