Job summary

Stryker in Cork is offering a Cooperative placement in Lean & CI focused on driving operational excellence. You will work with cross-functional teams to map processes, analyze data, and implement improvements across the organization.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Irish university degree in Engineering or Manufacturing, with strong analytical and teamwork skills. The role emphasizes structured problem solving, mentorship, and exposure to real-world healthcare projects at Stryker.

Qualifications

• Able to analyze and correct complex testing and systems issues using independent judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible and hardworking in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player capable of working in a multi-disciplined team.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Lean and CI activities and gain hands-on experience in operational excellence.
• Maintain Daily Management Systems boards, track metrics, and ensure standard processes are followed.
• Assist with data collection, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate Kaizen events and Lean/CI initiatives, document improvements and track actions to completion.
• Contribute to visual management and performance reporting.
