Job summary

Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Lead, Software Integration Engineer to lead a high-performing quality engineering team in a modern, agile, microservices environment.

You will drive test automation, CI/CD, release management, and robust quality practices across payments platforms. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, improving testing strategies, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, user-centric solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering or related fields.
• Proven leadership in building and mentoring QA teams.
• Strong Agile, microservices, and modern testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end test automation strategy across the XBS platform.
• Drive in-sprint testing, shift-left quality, and KPI monitoring.
• Plan and manage CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of ownership and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to ensure quality releases.
• Promote TDD/BDD and quality gating with SonarQube and related tools.
• Stay current with QE trends and adopt new tools as needed.
